💬 Why you should start fishing
Fishing isn’t just about catching fish — it’s about mindfulness, connection, and inclusion.
It’s a chance to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the peace of the water.
Club members are always happy to help newcomers: suggesting methods, sharing nets, helping to land each other’s catch, and even swapping flies. You’ll find plenty of encouragement and friendship here.

♿Disabled people can join TDF for a discounted price of just £30 and the same price for OAP’s to join the club. Gaining access to our fishing, including Disabled Access on the River Tawe.

☕ A relaxed day out
This is an informal competition, not a marathon. Many anglers take a break at The Cwtch in Crynant for breakfast before heading back to the water — proving that a great day’s fishing doesn’t have to be a long one.
